roast veggies: zucchini, peppers, onions..etc.
once noodles are done, add some olive oil, pepper, Parmesan cheese and put the roasted veggies on top.
You can also add good sausage, sliced deli meats..etc.

Make a nicoise salad:
lettuce,
hard boiled egg, cut in quarters,
tomatoes,
green beans,
black olives,
tuna or grilled chicken breast or grilled fish.
That's a good meal.

Well, it depends on what your personal preferences are, but I can make some suggestions. I struggle a lot with what to fix for my husband and myself.
Grilled Cheese Sandwiches w/ soup (Tomato, chicken noodle, etc.)
Breakfast is pretty quick - Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast...
Order a pizza
Salad w/ Chicken (this is quick if you have any leftover chicken from the day before)
Cold-cut sandwiches w/ chips (You could make a romantic picnic in the living room)
It's hard to keep from having too many leftovers with most of the recipes I make. Good luck! =)
