apple pancakes are good. all you do is cut up apples and add to your pancake mix. also apple salad mix,just add other fruits and yummy good eating.
Apple Dumplings





INGREDIENTS:


2 cups self-rising flour


1/2 cup apple juice


1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon


1 cup diced apples


2 (46 fluid ounce) cans apple juice


1 tablespoon cornstarch

DIRECTIONS:


In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup apple juice and cinnamon, stirring until smooth. Stir in diced apple.


Into a 4-quart pot with a tight fitting lid, pour 2 cans of apple juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Drop diced apple mixture by soup-spoonfuls into boiling juice. Cover and let boil 20 minutes. Do not remove lid during cooking. After 20 minutes, remove dumplings from pan; set aside.


Stir cornstarch into remaining apple juice in pot and cook until thickened. Serve over dumplings.





Apple Pan Chicken

INGREDIENTS:


1 tablespoon vegetable oil


1 onion, chopped


1 clove garlic, crushed


4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves


3 apples - peeled, cored and sliced


3 tablespoons dried currants


3 tablespoons pine nuts (optional)


1/3 cup apple juice


1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme


1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley


1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped (optional)


salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:


Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute onions and garlic until soft and translucent. Move the onions to the side, and brown chicken breasts 4 minutes on each side. Top chicken with apples, currants and pine nuts. Pour in apple juice. Season with thyme, parsley, jalapeno, salt and pepper. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are cooked and chicken is no longer pink.
Waldorf Salad





Chop apples, mix with mayonnaise, raisins and walnuts. Refrigerate and serve.

INGREDIENTS:


8 Granny Smith apples


2 tablespoons white sugar


1 teaspoon lemon juice


1/4 cup cinnamon red hot candies

DIRECTIONS:


Peel, core, and slice apples.


Place all ingredients in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 15 minutes, stirring each 5 minutes.


Cover with plastic wrap and let cool or serve warm.
Cut apples into wedges. Top with peanut butter, and raisins.

Try a roast.





Roast, apples, onion, potatoes, carrots.





Mix it together and slow cook for 4+ hours.
Chop an apple into cubes, do the same with some other fruit,


sliced bananas, oranges , raisins or whatever fruit you have


put them in a bowl and pur a youghurt over it, mix it all together and yuo ahve a very nice and healthy meal.
I add apples to tossed salads-the sweet nicely balances the tart of dressings.
Soak apples in water or lemon juice. Use a zip lock baggy and put cinnamon and sugar in it. Then place the apple inside the bag and shake.
