Enjoy the wholesome goodness of my world famous carrot ginger dip:
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
1/4 cup grated fresh ginger
8-10 chopped wholesome carrots
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or red wine)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise (Vegenaise)
several chopped scallions or garlic scapes
1/2 teaspoon turmeric (optional, for color)
Directions:
Toss all ingredients into blender or food processor and process till smooth. Delicious with sesame crackers, pita or crudites!

hummus and toasted pitta
1x tin of chickpeas
juice of half a lemon
1x garlic clove
1 tablespoon of tahini (sesame paste)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
put all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth. Toast your pitta and you're ready to go!

whole wheat bread and an egg
